Platform Role

Antmount operates a platform that helps customers submit requests, upload project details, receive preliminary quotes, and be matched or connected with an appropriate service provider for the requested work.

Depending on the request, services may be provided either directly by Antmount or through independent contractors, subcontractors, or other third-party service providers, where lawful and appropriate.

Submitting a request through the website does not guarantee that a provider will accept the request or that a requested appointment time will be available.

Provider Assignment and Status

Antmount may arrange, assign, coordinate, or support requested services using independent contractors, subcontractors, or other third-party service providers, where lawful and appropriate.

Independent service providers may decide whether to accept, decline, reschedule, or otherwise respond to a service opportunity, subject to platform rules, confirmed scope, and applicable law.

To the extent permitted by law and where applicable, certain services may be performed by independent contractors or third-party service providers rather than direct employees of Floor 28 Inc. Nothing in these Terms is intended to misstate, waive, or override any worker classification required by applicable law.

Quotes, Scope, and Feasibility

Unless expressly confirmed in writing, all quotes are preliminary. Final scope, pricing, feasibility, and timing may change based on wall type, hidden conditions, access, measurements, product details, inaccurate or incomplete information, building requirements, or other conditions that materially affect the work.

Customer Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate photos, links, details, and measurements where available.
  • Provide correct address, entry, and access information.
  • Obtain landlord, building, HOA, management, or other required approvals.
  • Maintain reasonably safe site conditions.
  • Have lawful authority and permission for requested work.

Hidden Conditions and Existing Site Issues

Antmount and any assigned service provider are not responsible for hidden wires, hidden pipes, structural conditions, unstable wall materials, unsafe prior installations, or other site conditions that are not reasonably visible before work begins.

Scope Changes

Work outside agreed scope requires additional approval and may require additional charges, rescheduling, or a revised quote.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

Cancellations and rescheduling are free if requested at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time.

If you cancel or request rescheduling less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment, we may charge a fixed $50 late cancellation or rescheduling fee, to the extent permitted by law.

If the service cannot proceed because of no-show, lack of access, unsafe conditions, missing approvals, inaccurate address information, or materially inaccurate project details provided before the visit, we may charge a fixed $50 cancellation fee, to the extent permitted by law.

Any non-refundable third-party costs, specialty purchases, materials, parking, tolls, or other agreed project expenses already incurred remain the customer's responsibility.

If work has already started, the customer remains responsible for the portion of work performed and any approved costs incurred before cancellation.

Payments

Pricing shown on the platform may be preliminary or informational unless expressly confirmed in writing. Final pricing may depend on scope, site conditions, access, required materials, scheduling conditions, and any changes from the originally submitted information.

Antmount may process or facilitate payment for services through the platform or through third-party payment providers, where applicable.

Customer Uploads and Content

You represent that you have the right to submit any photos, files, links, or materials you upload. Antmount may use uploaded content internally to evaluate, prepare, schedule, support, and document the request. Uploaded content is not used for public marketing without separate permission.

Workmanship Commitment

Any workmanship commitment applies only if expressly offered in writing and only to the work actually performed. If offered, limited workmanship coverage is conditioned on normal use and does not apply to hidden conditions, product defects, customer misuse, post-service modifications, or third-party interference.

Where expressly offered in writing, reported workmanship issues directly caused by the performed work may be reviewed within 30 days of service, provided the issue does not result from hidden conditions, product defects, customer misuse, post-service modifications, or third-party work.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Floor 28 Inc, Antmount, and associated providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including damages related to hidden conditions, third-party products or services, delays, or events beyond reasonable control.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, aggregate liability for claims arising from or related to a service is limited to the amount actually paid for the service at issue or $500, whichever is greater.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Floor 28 Inc and Antmount from claims, losses, costs, and expenses arising from misuse of the site, inaccurate submissions, uploaded content, failure to obtain required approvals, or violation of law or third-party rights.

Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. The courts located in New York, New York will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
